Why do my breast implants look this way?

I just had my breasts done 3 days ago. The doctor just unwrapped them, and they look a little funny. He's one of the best plastic surgeons in the country and his work is flawless. They just look really swollen and big and long. I asked the nurse, and she said it's because they've been mashed tightly against my body and that they will eventually get their shape. She said it just takes time for the swelling to go down and for them to look normal. Has this happened to anyone else? And does the issue resolve itself in time?
