My headphones won't work!!!! HELP!!!!?

I have in-ear headphones and sound won't come out of the left one. It was working fine a minute ago. All I did was wrap it around my brother iPod and then I unwrapped it and when I tried to listen to music it didn't work. The headphones are in good shape and I don't know why it won't work. I'm extremely worried!!!!! Please help!!!!! Answer ASAP!!!! :(
