10 Points for solution to this Math Problem?

the surface area for each box is 150 cm so if he wraps each individually he would need 300 cm of paper for both but if he puts them next to each other wraps them he saves 50 cm for the two sides he's hiding by putting them next to each other. its kinda like putting your hands together. once they are pressed against each other you don't see the palm of your hand. both hands become one. the boxes would become one and become a rectangle measuring 250 cm surface area.
