What does it mean when someone hugs you but doesn't unwrap?

Lately whenever my guy friend and I hug we dont unwrap all the way. We just kind of stand there and continue having a conversation with other people with our arms around eachother (side by side not like a hug). What does this mean? Are there any specific body language traits that its giving off?
