Is this GPA good enough for Cal?

If you look at the Berkeley website you will see that the average admitted Freshman has an Unweighted GPA of 3.93 and an average weighted GPA of 4.39. I know someone who did not make it who had a 4.3 and good EC's. However, Cal does look at other factors for instance if you are the first one in the family to go to college. etc.
