Is “…poisons kill me every time. The feeling is almost orgasmic.” an oxymoron? read more for description?

Not an oxymoron.. per-say. The sentence is contradictory of itself because, as we know, you can only really die once. But this is deeper than that. A part of this person dies every time they use the drug, metaphorically (spiritually, perhaps).
