Are these enough AP's?
I think 8 is good but it seems like you're leaving a lot of challenging classes for your senior year. Remember: if you want to apply to many schools you need time for college apps as well! Maybe consider taking a couple of the APs that you were going to do as a senior in your junior year instead if possible? For instance AP Lit or AP Psych. Definitely don't take any classes just because you feel it "looks good" if they don't geniuinely appeal to you but at the same time a challegning courseload does show that you've pushed yourself in high school. Also, both junior and senior year matter but when you apply to schools (especially if you apply early) your grades for your senior year classes probably won't be seen by colleges until later so they have to look at your junior year to get a sense of academic achievement, so if you can still maintain good grades while taking challenging classes that is worth doing. Finally: remember that it is a lot more than just grades that get your into a school. Extracurriculars, SAT/ACT, and most importantly a strong personal essay are going to influence an admissions decision too! Good luck!!
